As a charity promoting Go we welcome donations of any size to help us spread the word.
We would be pleased to add your name to our online wall list of supporters but understand that you might wish to remain anonymous.
We are registered with HMRC to participate in Gift Aid. This enables us to claim the tax paid on qualifying donations from individuals and for companies to offset the donation against tax.
We can claim an additional 25% of your donation from HMRC (e.g. if an individual donates £100 we can claim an additional £25). Those currently liable to 40% income tax can claim back another 25% of the donation.
To register for Gift Aid please complete and return this declaration to us.
Please tell us if subsequently you:
|•||want to cancel this declaration|
|•||change your name or home address|
|•||no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains|
If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you then you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HMRC to adjust your tax code.
The Finance Act 2014 allows companies to participate in Gift Aid.
When a company makes a qualifying donation to us the amount paid can be set against profits for Corporation Tax purposes. The company can make a claim in its Corporation Tax Self-Assessment return to set the amount of the donation against its taxable profits, to the extent that it reduces the chargeable profit to nil.
