As well as being a profession Go player, Ohashi Hirofumi has done a lot of work with AI and is a part-time lecturer at Tokyo Institute of Technology.
Many Europeans will know of him though his attendance at the EGC in 2013, 2017 and 2023 and at the Japanese Ambassador’s Cup in Berlin 2016-2019. He is the author of a collection of Go problems Banri Ikku |
