INTRODUCTION

This is a six round on-line EGF Class A tournament over two days: Saturday and Sunday. (please note: this a change from the original schedule)

The tournament will be hosted on OGS

Online anti-cheating measures will be in place for this tournament, including random analysis of games by our consultant, Antti Törmänen 1p.
All players must video record their play (example video ) and be able to provide these on request. Players unable to provide a video of sufficient quality on request might forfeit the game and/or be disqualified from the tournament.

Registration closed on Saturday 28th August 2021, one week before the start of the tournament.

If you’re uncertain whether your entry has been accepted, just check our list of Registered Players.

If you do not wish your name to appear in the online list of players you must indicate this when you register.

If subsequently you wish your name to be removed from the online list then email us.

INITIAL McMAHON SCORE


Your initial McMahon score (MMS) will be set from your GoR as published on the date of the tournament. If you do not have a GoR you might be required to provide other evidence of your strength. Your initial MMS determines who you will play in the first round.

RULES

The European Women’s Championship is conducted according to EGF Rules, broadly as follows:

 Handicap (if required) McMahon difference – 1
Digital Timing 45 minutes +15 seconds/move (Fischer Time)

Placement criteria: MMS, SOS, SOSOS. Only players who play all rounds will be ranked.
